Product Material
The TrueLine Adapt components are manufactured with a high performance, engineering grade nylon. Often utilized for performance parts within the aerospace & medical industry, the material performs well under stress, extreme conditions, and adjacent / exposed to a variety of materials.

Maximum phone weight (assuming no phone attachments outside phone profile/ weight): 14oz
Allowable temperatures
Up to 180F with no significant alteration to material tensile strength.
Water Resistance
Material will withstand short term or moderate immersion with no measurable change in strength. Moderate immersion (<24 hours) may affect the stiffness / clamping power minimally (>7%), but will not change the appearance or overall functionality of the product.
Chemical Resistance
- Mild chemicals do not significantly affect the performance or material properties (ie motor oil, non concentrated soaps/washing solutions, antifreeze ) but may affect the aesthetic of the material.
- Incidental contact with greases should be avoided as prolonged exposure can affect the material long term strength.
- Incidental contact with moderate to strong acids should be avoided as they can significantly alter the material properties and function due to degradation.
The above conditions are for the Trueline Adapt™ components themselves. Optics and phones should not be subject to heat, moisture, chemicals. Heat, moisture and chemicals may compromise the adhesive used for the plate attachment and should be avoided even in incidental contact. What is the TrueLine Adapt™ Digiscoping Adapter?
Our adapter system connects your smartphone to binoculars, spotting scopes, tripods or other optics so you can capture quality, long range photos and videos through the lens.
What optics does it work with?
It fits most spotting scopes and binoculars with a standard eyepiece. If you're concerned it won't work with your optic, email support@truelineoutdoors.com with the brand of your optic and we'd love to help.
Does it work with all smartphones?
Yes, it’s compatible with nearly all modern smartphones and cases (depending on thickness).
Is it difficult to install?
Nope—it's super easy! Prep, stick, and align. The adhesive plate mounts in minutes, and the clamp attaches easily.
Can I keep it on my phone and optic even when not using?
Absolutely! We are proud that our TrueLine Adapt™ system is EDC. Our ultra-thin phone plate stays on your device without bulk and our low-profile adapter can stay on your optic when stored in harness or case.
Can I remove or reuse the adapter?
Yes! The plate can be removed without damage, and extra adhesive tape is available if you want to use the adapter on multiple devices or reapply.
Will it damage my optics or phone?
Nope! The adapter is secure but won’t scratch or overtighten when used properly.
Is the adapter covered by warranty?
